Country Inquiry

On November the 26th we started our country Inquiry. At first, Miss Daly wrote the stuff that we will search and first we need to do our last name's first letter started country and my last name is Li so I need an L started country and I choose Liberia. Why I chose this because it starts with Li and that is my last name. Then we needed to search the 3 closest countries near the country we going to do and around Liberia is Sierra Leone, Côte d'Ivoire, and Guinée. Then when we finished these we have to search 3 native plants, 3 native animals and 3 native food recipes. 

Then we needed to screenshot a historical landmark and search where it is on google map. Then we needed to name the capital city and found it on google maps and take a screenshot. After that, we need to find a famous person in front of that country and why they are famous and add a screenshot. Then find your country on google earth and take a photo and also find the distance to New Zealand. After all of that finally is the last one but it was hard too and is about you writing a postcard back home describing a holiday in your chosen country.

Athletics

On the 20th of November, we had did Athletics. (But it should be on the 16th of November but it was raining so we didn't do it.) Also, we had 9 projects High Jump, Long Jump, Crossing the pollution river, 400m run, Sports, Fun relays, Shot put and Fun Throw. We had a lot of fun but it was tried when you back home. On the day my favourite is High Jump. When we finished all the projects and ate our lunch we did House Relays and it was about the 3 house which is Ruru(Blue) Kea(Red) Tui(Yellow) Pekeko(Green) and it about the houses chose people that going to run on the sprints track but it was relay so it is beat who is the fastest to finish and Ruru won the whole race.

Fun Creations Tumble

On the 4th of November morning we had a new tumble and that is the Fun Creations and we need to fill up the activities and the stuff we will doing had Origami Frog to make. Marshmallow tower and we do that for 2 people each also we had 20 marshmallows for one group. Playdough Insect and we had to make some insects with brown playdough, green playdough, and red. The next activity we had cutting patterns and how to play that folds the paper and cut it and it will be all the same as where you cut also we had making butter, and the first step is we put the cream in a jar then close the lid and shake it to make it soiled when its done for shaking it we need to put into a bowl and dip the cream that still is in it and we had bread and we put our butter in the bread and eat! When we had finished we going to do some Plasticine Character, we will be using the playdough to make the character. After that, we had to do pavement art and we had to do it on our concrete and its so hard to draw on it. Next, we doing Lego place and it needs to be contacted with our Plasticine character. Then is my favourite activity Paper Planes and is like we need to make planes by paper and to test how long it can fly and we had 5 chances and we need to Measure how long after one try and my score is 1. 7.9m 2. 4m 3. 7.9m 4. 7.4m 5. 7.9m and my paper planes are always fly in almost 8m or 7.5m and I think you need to throw high and hard so it can fly far also when we finished one stuff we need to fill in the Tracking Sheet to see how many we had done, and we also had a group sheet and that is for all the stations which is the activity and if other people finished that thigh so we can fill it in our name.

Futsal

Every Wednesday we have being doing Futsal and Futsal is about Football. At first, we need to hold the ball and kick it to the sky and keep doing that and how many you can do it, after it and we go in the hall and we split to two groups there is bib and no bib doing the numbers like 1 2 3... I am one so I go the first and 2 people go, when we all had a round doing 3 people at once and one time I did one shot to the goal.
